The idea
I turned installing paintings into a four-day spectacle. Art Market Productions commissioned Hang for the San Francisco Art Fair.
My role
I created and performed the part of an overwhelmed gallerist, hanging my own booth as visitors watched and joined in. My actual gallerist worked as my assistant.
What happened
Visitors stopped, filmed, and sometimes joined in. The Art Newspaper covered it. The paintings sold out.
